Storytelling is the currency of our style. We create visual photo stories for our clients so that they can have powerful images to tell their story to the world (or whoever their target audience might be).

Our style is natural and genuine including a blend of photojournalism, lifestyle, editorial, and documentary style photography. The images we create will be authentic and always aim to embody the character, energy, and essence of the experience.

We also have a unique style for creating powerful portraits, professional headshots, editorial portraits, executive portraits, and for personal branding photography. Our team also has many years of experience creating more stylized photos for advertising and marketing clients and for food photography and product photography projects.

Yes, we have an incredible collection of off-camera flash equipment, light modifiers, light reflectors, and other lighting gear that help us to create any type of lighting profile needed to fit the project.

Yes. We have an incredible mobile headshot and portrait setup that we can bring to your offices to do executive portraits and professional headshots for your team, employees, and staff. We’ll bring lights with us. We can choose either a blank studio backdrop or a nice architectural feature (more natural and modern) blurred out background. Yes. Absolutely. We have resumed a full photo schedule and we have developed some very comprehensive safety protocols based on the guidelines provided by the best available science from The State of California, The Centers For Disease Control, and the World Health Organization. Some of these guidelines include:

  • Pre-screening of all participants prior to the photo date(s)
  • Everyone must wear facemasks at all times when on site (exceptions made for those being photographed, of course)
  • Practice social distancing at all times whenever possible
  • Frequent hand sanitizing and washing
  • Frequent disinfecting of all surfaces on site
  • Air purifiers and ventilation for any indoor projects
  • Limiting the number of people inside same room at any one time
  • Please ask us for the full list of protocols (there are more)
Yes. We are primarily a still photography company. We can provide video storytelling to accommodate most requests, as long as we are already doing a still photo project for you. Video services are an add-on service that will have a separate cost as a separate line item. For more involved video projects, we partner with some talented videographers who can be included on our team as part of any storytelling package.

Every project is unique. Get in touch with us for a custom quote. We’ll set up a complimentary consultation in order to better understand your project and to put together a custom proposal.

Yes, we do photo storytelling for independent schools, private schools, and universities. We normally provide these education clients with a type of lifestyle and documentary style photography to create a powerful collection of day-in-the-life style images that the schools then use for their own marketing, advertising, recruitment, fundraising, and as an historical archive. We have an entirely separate website for education photography services.

Yes. For our bigger projects, we often arrive on-site a day early to meet the client’s creative team, do a walk through of the project or event site, to procure any credentials or badges, and to set up our editing room (if part of the project). Arriving a day early for pre-planning can be added into any project.

And yes, we also provide location scouting. We can add location scouting days into any project package, depending on your needs.
Final edited images are nearly always delivered via a digital download link sent to you via email.

Culling, editing, and optimizing of RAW files into final deliverable JPGs is a huge part of the creative storytelling process and is also very time intensive. For most projects, we will spend roughly 2 hours in post-production for every 1 hour of active photography time. So, a project that involved 10 hours of photography time will require roughly 20 hours of computer time to finish the photo story.

Editing and delivery timelines are customized based on the needs of your project. If you choose standard delivery: most projects have a turn around time of approximately two weeks. But this does depend on the scale of the project.

We also offer rush delivery options (next day, third day, etc.).

If you choose our Instant Same Day delivery and include an on-site editor, we’ll be able to deliver finished images to you in near real-time.
